The Riverwalk is a public area and is FREE to visit. Locals enjoy walking around the Riverwalk channel on a regular basis.

What time does the Riverwalk close?

The Riverwalk is a public area and is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The surrounding businesses and Welcome Center do have certain hours of operation, but the Riverwalk itself is always available.

Is the Riverwalk drained every year?

Yes, the Riverwalk is drained once a year around January-March. It is important that we drain the channel so it can be cleaned and necessary maintenance can be done before the summer season begins.

Where can I park?

Parking is available along some of the streets surrounding the Riverwalk. There are also a few parking lots available. All of the parking is free but may have a certain time limit. Below you will find a map with places to park in red.

Is there a place to get married on the Riverwalk?

There are a few different locations to get married on the Riverwalk. The most popular location being in the natural area. For more information on weddings please visit the facility rental page.

Are dogs allowed on the Riverwalk?

Absolutely! We love dogs here on the Riverwalk. We ask that you please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after your dog by using the disposable bags provided by Sit Means Sit.
